Science Teacher

What You'll Do
  • Deliver science instruction in small groups settings, adapting lessons to ensure accessibility for students with learning difficulties.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in teaching core science concepts (biology, chemistry, physics).
  • Adapt and differentiate curriculum materials and lab activities to suit a wide range of learning profiles, using evidence-based and AI-supported instructional methods.
  • Collaborate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that align with students' developmental and academic needs.
  • Monitor and document student growth in scientific reasoning, inquiry skills, and content mastery, making data-driven instructional decisions.
  • Work closely with therapists, aides, and other educational professionals to provide integrated support for student learning.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers through regular updates and collaborative goal setting.
  • Foster a learning environment that is safe, structured, inquiry-driven, and inclusive.
  • Promote a love for science while ensuring that students feel competent, curious, and confident.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, MOE-approved credentials).
  • Experience teaching science in inclusive or international school environments.
  • Proven track record supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Skilled in lesson adaptation, inclusive pedagogy, and hands-on science instruction.
  • Familiarity with international science curricula (e.g., Cambridge Lower Secondary Science, IPC) preferred.
